Key Man Lock & Safe Company is proud to announce the promotions of Xaviere-Paul Letteer and Lance Letteer to Certified Advanced Locksmith.
Key Man Lock & Safe Company has an extremely rigorous training program which involves practical, written, and oral examinations as well as years of training and frequent classes. Employees with no previous experience begin at the level of Apprentice Locksmith and move through the levels to Basic Locksmith, Certified Locksmith, Certified Advanced Locksmith and Master Locksmith.
Lance and Xaviere-Paul are third generation locksmiths and became involved in locksmithing at very young ages. They began their involvement by riding with their father, Glenn Letteer, a Master Locksmith. They would assist by carrying tools, asking questions, helping with small jobs.
While in the 5th grade, Xaviere-Paul knew he wanted to be a locksmith. On an assignment, the question was asked "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Many children were answering with "An astronaut" or "A doctor", but Xaviere-Paul wrote "A locksmith".
Lance trained with his father throughout his childhood and in 2007 completed a formal locksmith program. After completing his locksmith program, he went on to complete a Bachelors degree in Security Management with a minor in Information Security as well as a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Information Technology.
Lance currently works out of our Layton, UT store located at 1868 N. Hill Field Rd. Ste. 106 Layton, UT 84041.
Xaviere-Paul works out of our Ogden store located at 128 20th St. Ste. A Ogden, UT 84401
Both are vigorously training and working toward the level of Master Locksmith.
